As Jodi mentioned the timing of this challenge couldn't have been better for us. I've participated in a few of the previous challenges and love the extra motivation and competition! A little about me... I currently live in Phoenix AZ (grew up in the northwest) and work full time as a housekeeper in a mansion house. Lucky for me my job keeps me semi-active always running up and down the stairs, lifting heavy things, etc. By the time I get home I'm pretty warn out and not motivated to exercise. I'm a pretty healthy eater but when it comes to exercise I tend to drag my feet. My body has been craving it so bad lately! My roommate (Shawna) and I are signed up for a 5k, my first! at the end of January and I need to get my buns in shape... so I don't die.
I definitely need to cut back on the calories and be more conscious about what I'm eating. I don't like to dwell a lot on food- I've become somewhat obsessed in the past. During this challenge I'm going to focus on only eating when I'm hungry and only eating till I'm full.
It's great to see some familiar people doing the challenge! I look forward to getting to know the rest of you. BTW Angela is an and old roommate and dear friend of mine from BYU days. And Jodi and I met at BYU-Idaho a longgg time ago and have remained friends... speaking of BYU-Idaho great to see you on here Carley!
